Dr Phillip Sharman
(Owner Of Practice)

Phil started work at Casino Veterinary Clinic soon after graduating in 1987. At that time it was a 3 vet practice with a 70% reliance on cattle work. Phil spent 2 years in England in 1991 - 1992 working mostly with horses and Dairy cattle in Worcestershire before returning to work with Ross Sillar. In 1997 Phil filled in as the District Vet for Casino's Rural Lands Protection Board before buying the practice in August of 1998.

Along with wife Linda, Phil designed and built the surgery that the practice uses now and it was officially opened in July 2000.

Phil has 2 girls, Evie and Annabelle. Annabelle is currently at University in Brisbane and Evie is living in Canberra continuing her studies. He enjoys following the Queensland Reds and lives in the vain hope that the Wallabies will one day hoist the Bledisloe cup and World cups again. Work wise he mostly enjoys anything to do with cattle and anything surgical. Phil has two Labrador siblings called Pip and Pop who love the water and terrorizing the local lizards.
